LKG reads two-letter words (at, in, on, up), shows what they mean, learns the first sight words (I, a, the, is, my, see) and one and many. UKG learns more sight words, a or an, he or she, reads phrases and short sentences and finds their pictures, and makes sentences from words. Words are in the school font, with single-storey a and g.
